Law 792: Disability Rights Law
With 2020 marking 30 years since the passage of the landmark civil rights legislation the Americans with Disabilities Act, this course examines the history, policy, and current practice of Federal disability rights law. Topics addressed will include disability rights law in employment, public accommodations, government services, and education, with the goal of understanding how disability rights are litigated, the ongoing challenges to enforcement of disability rights law, and how this rapidly changing field of law may grow and develop in the next 30 years.
