Law 616: Environmental Law (streamed)
This course is an introduction to the legal regulation of environmental quality. The course will begin with common law approaches to solving environmental problems, but the bulk of the course will focus on the major legal and policy issues underlying key federal environmental statutes, such as the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, and Superfund.
Sequence and Prerequisites: Administrative Law is helpful but not required.
Evaluation: Classroom attendance and preparation is expected. Grades will be based on an in-class exam and participation.
