Bridget Schott is an Assistant State’s Attorney for the Champaign County State’s Attorney’s Office. Prior to joining the Champaign County State’s Attorney’s Office, she worked as an Assistant States Attorney in Vermilion County, focusing on child abuse and neglect, and juvenile delinquency. Bridget currently represents the people of the State of Illinois prosecuting felony domestic batteries and other domestically related crimes. In addition to her work as an ASA, Bridget is an active member of the Illinois State Bar Association, currently serving as the secretary of the Child Law section council
As an Adjunct Professor, Bridget brings her courtroom skills to the classroom as a coach of the Trial Team, where she assists students in working up cases and presenting them at national mock trial competitions. Bridget is a 2007 graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University and a 2010 graduate of Southern Illinois University School of Law.
