Elisabeth Pollock is an Assistant Federal Public Defender for the Central District of Illinois, Urbana Division. Prior to joining the Federal Public Defender’s Office, she worked as an associate attorney for Beckett & Webber, P.C., for six years. As an AFPD, Elisabeth represents indigent defendants charged with serious federal crimes. In addition to trying cases in the district court, she also represents clients on appeal before the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, where she has orally argued over 20 times. As an adjunct professor at the College of Law, Elisabeth brings her courtroom skills to the classroom as a coach of the Trial Team, where she assists students in working up cases and presenting them at national mock trial competitions. Elisabeth is a 2003 graduate of Lawrence University and a 2006 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Law.
