“One of the biggest things that I value is my family. I do a lot of the things I do for my family just because of being a first-generation student and I kind of want to set a path for some of my younger siblings. I’m the second oldest of seven, so I have a lot of siblings and I really kind of let them know that like, although this isn’t the path that our parents went down and although they are successful in what they do, you can also go to college and also learn more about the world around you and experience. So that’s one of the most important things to me.”
