On May 3, 2017 An Nguyen received the 2017 Distinguished Service Award for outstanding pro bono service from Chicago Volunteer Legal Services (CVLS), Chicago’s first and pre-eminent legal aid organization. He was selected amongst over 2,300 volunteer attorneys from Chicago and the surrounding areas to receive the award and was honored at CVLS’ annual “Law and Disorder” event.
