Roeser Tanner & Graham welcomed Claudia M. Rustad to the firm as a principal.

Claudia concentrates her practice in commercial litigation matters, drawing on more than 20 years of experience representing clients in state and federal proceedings, arbitrations and mediations in jurisdictions across the country.

Throughout her career, Claudia has successfully defended and prosecuted cases involving contract breach, real estate and employment disputes, fiduciary duty, professional duty and fraud claims, among others. She also regularly provides outside general counsel services, advising clients on commercial contracts, litigation management, corporate governance, compliance and risk management.

Prior to joining the firm, Claudia served as a trial attorney in the commercial litigation department of a nationally renowned litigation boutique and as Senior Assistant General Counsel at a premier Chicago-based real estate investment trust.

Claudia earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1999 following completion of her B.A. from the University of Illinois in 1996.
