On November 9, President Joe Biden announced his intent to nominate Corey Anne Tellez to be Assistant Secretary for Legislative Affairs, Department of the Treasury. The White House cited her nearly 20 years of public service, including serving as acting Assistant Secretary for Legislative Affairs at the Department of the Treasury and several prominent legislative assistant roles, in its press release announcing Tellez’s selection.
