David E. Murray was inducted into the Whiteside County Airport Hall of Fame on July 15, 2021. During Murray’s tenure, he advised the airport board through changes in rules, regulations, and leases. He and the board worked successfully with many officials of the state of Illinois and the Federal Aviation Administration on airport improvement projects. Dave himself is a pilot and has been flying for 50 years with no accident.
