Matthew R. Bettenhausen has joined the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, where he serves as Senior Advisor and Counselor to the Director. Bettenhausen has more than 17 years of federal service, principally as an Assistant United States Attorney with the Department of Justice in the Northern District of Illinois (Chicago).
