Judge Jason Bohm serves as a circuit judge for the 6th Judicial Circuit in Champaign County, Illinois. He was appointed to the bench in 2018. Prior to taking the bench, he was an Assistant United States Attorney in the Central District of Illinois. He prosecuted a wide range of criminal cases, served as the district’s anti-terrorism coordinator, and argued dozens of appeals before the Seventh Circuit. Prior to joining the U.S. Attorney’s Office, he worked as an associate at Sidley Austin, focusing on securities litigation. He also clerked for Judge Donald J. Stohr, Eastern District of Missouri, and received his J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law, where he served as the Symposium Editor for the Illinois Law Review.
