Law 662: Labor Law I
The course focuses on the National Labor Relations Act. Topics studied include the protection of the employees' right of self-organization, the selection of a representative for collective bargaining, the negotiation of the collective bargaining agreement, and the use of economic force (strikes, lockouts, picketing). Some time will also be devoted to the administration of the collective bargaining agreement (grievance arbitration).
