Anne Robbins

Electronic Services Librarian

About

The College of Law library boasts one of the country’s most impressive collections of scholarly work and legal resources. Robbins became very familiar with the collection while pursuing her JD and MLIS at the University of Illinois. Now she oversees the development and evolution of the library’s resources including working to create access to business resources that are not usually available in an academic setting and developing small collections targeted to address students’ career development. She also studies the latest developments in information delivery and knowledge management and how these issues affect libraries in an academic setting.

Robbins collaborates with the larger University on interdisciplinary collections demanded by the shifting focus of legal scholarship. She provides students, faculty, and College of Law departments with the information most immediate to their needs while taking care that the library continues to acquire resources that will meet the research needs of future generations of faculty and students.
