About

Professor Schulte graduatedĀ magna cum laudeĀ from the University of Illinois College Law. She first practiced at Mayer, Brown & Platt in Chicago as a litigation associate. Subsequently, she worked as an assistant regional counsel at the Office of the General Counsel for the Social Security Administration.

Professor Schulte taught at the College of Law from 2001 to 2007. During this time, her courses included Legal Research & Writing, Legal Writing & Analysis, Introduction to Advocacy, and Law & Literature. Since returning to the College of Law in 2009, she has taught Advanced Legal Writing: Appellate Advocacy and co-taught Advanced Legal Writing: Insurance Coverage. She currently teaches Legal Writing & Analysis, Introduction to Advocacy, and Writing for Law Practice.
