About
Cari Rincker is the principal at Rincker Law, PLLC, a nationally recognized food, farm and family law practice with Illinois offices in Downtown Champaign and Shelbyville and a New York office in Midtown East of Manhattan. Cari is a licensed attorney in Illinois, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Texas and Washington D.C. She is a trained mediator for community mediation, commercial mediation, divorce mediation and custody/visitation mediation; and an award-winning attorney and recognized speaker for both her family law practice and her food/agriculture law practice. She is an adjunct professor at the University of Illinois College of Law and teaches at Vermont Law School, helping with several online agriculture, food law and environmental law courses. While she was living in New York City, she was an adjunct professor at New York University, Department of Nutrition and Food Studies teaching an undergraduate food law course.
Cari grew up on a beef cattle farm in Central Illinois. Her boots remain firmly planted in agriculture. She enjoys judging livestock shows and owns a small farm west of Champaign with cattle, goats, chickens and rabbits.
