About

Professor Courtney “Cat” Segota joined the law library faculty at the College of Law in 2023. She teaches in the College of Law’s first-year Legal Research course as well as Advanced Legal Research.  

Prof. Segota holds a JD from the University of Illinois College of Law and a Master of Library Science from Indiana University – Bloomington. Prior to joining the law library faculty, she served as the Head of Instructional Services for the McKusick Law Library at the University of South Dakota and as the Faculty Services Librarian at the St. Thomas University Law Library.
