James Noonan

About
James Noonan is a specialized faculty member at the College of Business, teaching business law, consulting, and professional development courses. He also teaches at the College of Engineering and the University’s China Executive Leadership Program. For two years, he co-directed Illinois Business Consulting – the nation’s largest student-run consulting program. He has been a licensed attorney in Illinois since 2011 and has taught in the College of Law’s Trial Advocacy program.
As a law student at the University of Illinois, he won a national championship in the ABA Client Counseling Competition and placed third in the International Championships. Professor Noonan was also part of the first student team ever to win a jury trial in the Federal Civil Rights Clinic. He was a member of the Trial Team as well as the Law Review.
