State Representative John Bradley is serving his seventh term in the Illinois House of Representatives after being appointed to represent the 117th District in June 2003. In addition to serving as Assistant Majority Leader in House Democratic leadership, Representative Bradley also serves as chair of the Revenue & Finance Committee.
Born in Harrisburg, Illinois, John graduated from Southeastern Illinois College before earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Government from the University of Texas. He received his law degree from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1996 and returned to Southern Illinois. He resides in Marion with his wife, Michelle, and their three sons, Austin, Jackson and Gabriel.
