Kelsey Myers is entering academia from practice. Prior to being named the Associate Director of the Anderson Center for Advocacy and Professionalism and Lecturer-in-Law, she worked in North Carolina as a trial attorney. Her experience includes working with Chief Justice Beasley of the NC Supreme Court, working in civil litigation focusing on construction defects and medical malpractice, and defending in criminal defense. While in law school, she served as the Symposium Editor for her Law Review and was an award-winning trial advocate. While on trial team, she competed on the winning Hofstra-Medical team and was named “best advocate” of that competition. Upon graduation, she received the Richard A. Moot Award and was inducted into the Order of Barristers. When not working with the students, Professor Myers enjoys hiking, yoga, and spending time with her husband and dogs.

She will be teaching courses in foundational and advanced trial advocacy and coaching our competitive trial teams.
