Matthew Goldman is an Assistant Appellate Prosecutor at the Illinois State’s Attorneys Appellate Prosecutor’s Office. Previously, he worked as an Assistant Public Defender at the Champaign County Public Defender’s Office and clerked for Justice Robert Steigmann on the Fourth District Appellate Court. He previously coached the undergraduate trial team at the University of Illinois for five years.

He graduated from the Illinois College of Law in 2017, where he served as Notes Editor for the Illinois Law Review and competed on the Illinois Trial Team.
