Sarah Conley Odenkirk is the Founder of ArtConverge, based in Champaign, Illinois, with offices in Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York. ArtConverge offers legal services, scholarship, and thought leadership in the international fields of fine art, public art, and at the nexus of art and emerging technologies.
In addition to her work at ArtConverge, Sarah currently teaches Art Law and Business Associations at the University of Illinois College of Law. She previously taught as a Lecturer in Law at University of Southern California Gould School of Law, and before that served as Associate Director for the Sotheby’s Institute of Art’s Art Business and Arts Management Programs at Claremont Graduate University.
Sarah sits on the Board of the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. In addition to being a frequent speaker and author of numerous articles, Sarah wrote A Surprisingly Interesting Book About Contracts for Artists and Other Creatives.
In addition to Illinois, Sarah is licensed to practice law in California, New York, and Oregon, and maintains inactive admissions in Washington and the District of Columbia. She graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law and earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois.
