About
Professor Zachary Boyce joined the law library faculty at the College of Law in 2026. He teaches the College of Law’s first-year Legal Research course as well as Advanced Legal Research. Professor Boyce holds both a Doctor of Jurisprudence and a Master of Science in Information Science, which he completed concurrently, at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His research interests primarily lie at the intersection between Legal History, Book History, and Print Culture, with a particular focus on the materiality and social construction of legal authority. Prior to joining the law library faculty, he worked in the Rare Book Department of Wilson Special Collections Library at UNC.
