My experience at the College of Law has been truly transformative. The faculty and staff are exceptionally dedicated; they not only teach you, but genuinely embrace and support international students like me, helping us thrive both as learners and as future lawyers in the U.S. Here, I’ve discovered how the U.S. lawyer thinks, reasons, and practices, an experience that has been profoundly different from what many of my peers encountered elsewhere. I’ve also learned about the many different kinds of lawyers that the U.S. legal system produces—from those focused on social justice to those shaping complex business transactions—and how diverse perspectives from classmates trained in other legal systems around the world can enrich your understanding of the law and expand how you see the legal profession globally.
