“A lot of the other law schools I was looking at didn’t have the experiential learning. They didn’t have the clinics, and it became apparent to me, looking at the school’s website and talking to people during the admissions process, that Illinois had a lot of opportunities not only to learn the law, but to actually practice and work in the courtroom before you graduate.
“Here I’ve gotten a lot more hands-on learning in general. I know that the professors here are good, they know what they’re doing, and they’re there to help me out.”
