Law 668: Decedents' Estates and Trusts
This course studies the means of making gratuitous transfers of wealth effective upon death, including the validity and effect of testamentary instruments and trusts. The topics covered include: intestate succession; policy restrictions on testamentary transfers; execution and validity of wills; revocation and revival of wills; will substitutes; the creation and nature of interests in trusts; administration of estates and trusts; probate and contest of wills; constructional problems in estate distribution; and related matters.
