Law 634: Securities Law
This course covers regulation of securities under the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. It provides a broad overview of securities regulation and disclosure rules, and discusses specific topics including: the definition of a security, registration of securities with the Securities and Exchange Commission, exemptions from registration, private suits by investors, private class actions under federal securities laws, and public government enforcement proceedings.
