Jewish Federation Academic Scholarship
The Jewish Federation Academic Scholarship is available to Jewish college and post-graduate students with fianacial need in helping professions (including law). Scholarships range up to $8,000, and are renewable.
You are eligible to apply if you:
- Are Jewish
- Were born and raised in Chicago metropolitan area*, including Lake County, Indiana; or one continuous year of full-time employment in the Chicago metro area prior to enrollment
- Intend to remain in the Chicago metropolitan area after completing school
- Are entering an accredited graduate program in a helping profession on a full-time basis for the full 2020-2021 academic year
- Demonstrate financial need and career promise
- Are available for an interview between March 1 and April 20, 2020
*Chicago metropolitan area includes Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry, and Will counties.
The deadline to apply for a scholarship for the 2020-2021 academic year is February 1, 2020, and school acceptance is not required at the time of scholarship application.
