The College of Law Office of Career Planning and Professional Development has been a tremendous resource for me during law school and beyond.

Even in a competitive job market, the office was determined to get me employed after graduation and worked hard to create an individualized job search strategy. The dedicated staff helped me present myself in the best light possible during job interviews – they conducted mock interviews, provided invaluable feedback on my résumé and cover letter, and helped boost my confidence during a difficult time. I cannot stress enough how crucial it is for law students to use Career Services to help them navigate through a challenging legal market. I was able to gain employment within six months of passing the Illinois bar largely because of their genuine efforts.
