William Henning '82

William Henning has been appointed by Texas Governor Greg Abbott to the Work Group on Blockchain Matters. The work group will develop a master plan for the expansion of the blockchain industry in Texas and recommend policies and state investments in connection with blockchain technology. Henning is an Executive Professor of Law at Texas A&M University School of Law. He received a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, and a Master of Laws from the University of Illinois . 

N. Peter Rasmussen '82

N. Peter Rasmussen announced his retirement from his position as senior legal analyst with Bloomberg Law. Peter is a recognized expert and frequent author and speaker on federal securities and corporate law. His work has been cited by SEC Commissioners, in agency rulemaking and in Congressional hearings.

Peter lives in Fredericksburg, Virginia, with his wife Peggy, where he will spend retirement as a battlefield guide. The Rasmussens have three children. Peter may be reached at petenpeg1982@gmail.com.

He will moderate the federal securities regulators panel at the annual meeting of the American Association of Corporate Counsel. He lives in Fredericksburg, Virginia, with his wife Peggy, who recently retired from her position as a director of international IT for AbbVie.
