Miranda was nominated for this award by multiple attorneys and ultimately selected due to her significant contributions as an outstanding young lawyer. Miranda will be recognized for her accomplishments on July 11th at the ISBA Awards Ceremony.

Wilson represents private equity funds, startups, banks, insurance companies and other public and private businesses in a variety of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, debt finance, venture capital, joint ventures and complex corporate restructurings. He has significant private equity experience, including with small business investment companies (SBICs), representing funds and limited partners in portfolio investments, limited partner investments, fund formation and SBIC licensing. Wilson also has substantial experience representing technology companies, ranging from consumer-facing services to business-oriented platforms. He also regularly handles transactions in the energy, health care, food and beverage and insurtech industries.

Michael Azzi '10
Michael Azzi has been named a partner with Warner Norcross. His practice is focused on complex commercial litigation, particularly in the areas of intellectual property, bankruptcy and creditor’s rights. He was named a Michigan Super Lawyer Rising Star in both 2016 and 2017, and is a member of the Federal Bar Association, American Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan and Grand Rapids Bar Association.

Joshua Naggar is currently representing Jane Doe in Jane Doe vs. RUSD. The case involves an alleged sexual assualt and sodomy of a special needs student while on a 3rd party contracted school bus. The case has received quite a bit of attention in California, where it is unfolding.
